INSTRUCTION

Training and instruction at Sunrise Stable are based on a classical approach designed to develop each horse’s natural athletic abilities, using positive reinforcement in the learning process. Individually focused training allows each animal to progress rapidly as its understanding and strength develop. Clarity of communication, consistency of requests, and confidence in the equine partnership are essential to realizing and expanding a rider’s potential to achieve the harmony and beauty inherent in the sport of dressage. Riders learn how to create the communication and connection that allows them to ride in balance with their mounts. Trained school horses are also available for lessons.
