Please take the end-of-semester survey, if you would. I am using this instrument, along with your course evaluations and whatever else I learn from you to improve the course and make it valuable for you. This course acquaints you with the processes and principles of creating task-oriented manuals and help for software products. It guides you through the process of developing a complete set of documentation products for a specific product. In this course we work in an electronic classroom with word processing, desktop publishing, help authoring, scanning, video capturing, and graphics software technologies at our disposal. You will learn strategies for managing large writing projects, including analyzing audience, planning, managing time, revising and editing, and conducting usability tests. Dummy text (lorem ipsum) that you can use for mock-ups.
